Terms of Service
By using this website or engaging Nico in Focus for photography services, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. These terms govern your use of this site and provide a general framework for how services are offered. Clients who book a session will also sign a separate service agreement, which governs the specifics of that engagement. Where the two documents conflict, the signed contract takes precedence.
Use of this site
This site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate inquiries and bookings. You agree not to:
-Use this site for any unlawful purpose
-Reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this site without written permission
-Attempt to access any part of the site you are not authorized to access
-Misrepresent your identity or intentions when submitting an inquiry or booking request
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at my discretion.
Bookings & Deposits
A non-refundable retainer of $150 is required to hold your session date. This retainer is non-refundable under any circumstances. If your total deposit paid exceeds $150, the amount above the retainer may be returned to you in the event of a cancellation.
If a studio is reserved on your behalf for your session, studio rental fees paid are also non-refundable unless the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the scheduled shoot date, in which case a prorated return may apply based on what the studio allows.

Copyright & Image Licensing
All photographs produced by Nico in Focus are the exclusive intellectual property of the photographer. Booking a session and receiving your images does not transfer copyright ownership.
Clients receive a personal use license for their images. This license permits you to display, share, and enjoy your images for non-commercial personal use only. It does not include print rights.
Print rights are not included in the standard personal use license. If you wish to print your images commercially or at a professional print lab, you must either purchase a print license or order prints directly through Nico in Focus. Unauthorized commercial printing is a violation of copyright.

Sharing on Social Media
You are welcome to share your images on social media under your personal use license. If you post images from your session publicly, you are required to tag Nico in Focus in your post. Sharing images publicly without credit is not permitted.
This applies to all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and any other public-facing channel.
Site Content
All written content, photography, branding, and design elements on this site are owned by Nico in Focus and protected by copyright. Nothing on this site may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Nico in Focus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or your engagement with services offered here. In all cases, liability is limited to the amount paid for services directly related to the claim.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of this site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent review.
