statement on ada accessibility
Making this site usable by everyone matters to me. Whether you use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need text at a larger size, I want your experience here to be clear and frustration-free. This page explains what I've done to work toward that, and how to reach me if something isn't working.
Accessibility is personal to me. My sister is disabled, and her experience has shaped the way I think about inclusion in everything I do.
What I've done
This site has been built with the following in place:
-Semantic HTML that works with screen readers and assistive technology
-Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed recommended standards
-Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
-Keyboard navigation support across all menus and interactive elements
-Scalable text that respects your browser's font size settings
-Responsive layout across mobile, tablet, and desktop
-No auto-playing audio or video
I work toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance and review the site on an ongoing basis as it grows and changes.
Third Party Tools
Some parts of this site rely on third-party platforms for things like galleries and booking. I don't control the underlying code for those tools, and they may not meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of the site. If one of those areas creates a barrier for you, please contact me directly and I'll do whatever I can to help you get what you need another way.
