This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site or work with me as a client, how it is used, and who else may have access to it. I don't sell your data, I don't share it with advertisers, and I collect only what's needed to run this business and serve you well.
What I collect and why
Inquiry and contact forms
When you reach out through this site, I collect your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you book a session, to manage that relationship.
Booking and scheduling
If you book a session, I collect the details needed to confirm and prepare for your appointment. This includes session type, preferred date, and any relevant notes you provide.
Deposit payments
Deposits are processed through Pixieset, which handles payments via all major U.S. credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfer, and PayPal. I do not store or have access to your card number, bank details, or full payment credentials. Those are handled entirely by the payment processors. Gallery access
After your session, your images are delivered through a private, password-protected gallery hosted by Pixieset. Access requires authentication with your email address. Pixieset manages that login session and any associated data on their platform.
Site visits
Like most websites, this site collects basic technical data when you visit, including your browser type, device, and general location (city or region level). This happens at the platform level through Pixieset and is used to understand how the site is being used. No personally identifiable information is collected passively just from browsing.

Email communications
If you receive emails from Nico in Focus, they are sent through Pixieset's email platform. These may include booking confirmations, session reminders, gallery delivery notifications, and occasional updates about my work. Each email includes an unsubscribe option. Removing yourself from marketing emails will not affect transactional communications related to an active booking.

Used for the website, client galleries, booking, payment processing, and email communications.
Used as an optional payment method for deposits. If you pay via PayPal, their platform governs that transaction.
Data retention
I retain client information for as long as needed to fulfill the services we've agreed to and to comply with any applicable legal or tax obligations. If you'd like your information removed from my records after your project is complete, you can request that by contacting me directly.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask me to delete it. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information has been collected and the right to request deletion.
